How long does a custom order take?
Custom projects typically take 2 to 9 months, depending on the complexity of the design and sourcing of materials.
Can you rush a custom order?
In some cases. It depends on the design and timeline. Give us a call and we’ll let you know what’s realistic.
Do you require a deposit for custom work?
Yes. A deposit is required to begin custom work, with the balance due when the piece is completed.
Can I use my own stones in a custom piece?
Yes. We’re happy to work with heirloom diamonds or gemstones and incorporate them into a new design.
Payment
Do you offer layaway?
Yes, we offer in-store layaway. A 10% deposit is required to hold your item, and monthly payments are expected. Your item can be picked up once it is paid in full.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and tap to pay.
Can I pay over the phone or online?
Yes, we can take payment over the phone or send you a secure payment link by text.
Do you require full payment before pickup?
Yes. All items must be paid in full before they are picked up or shipped.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Please contact us or refer to our return policy for details on refunds and exchanges.

Do you ship jewelry?
Yes, we ship within the U.S.
Can I mail my jewelry to you for repair or service?
Yes. Many of our customers mail items to us. We’ll inspect, provide a quote, complete the work, and ship it back to you.
Is my jewelry insured during shipping?
Yes, shipments are insured while in transit.
Do you require a signature on delivery?
In most cases, yes, to ensure safe delivery. If you want to waive the required signature please contact us as soon as possible.
Ring Sizing
How do I determine my ring size?
The most accurate way is to have your finger professionally measured in-store or by a jewelry professional. We can also mail ring sizers or provide a printable guide, though those are less accurate.
Do you offer free ring sizing?
Yes. We include one free sizing within the first year on rings purchased from us.
Does sizing a ring before shipping count as my free sizing?
Yes. When ordering online, you’ll select a size from a dropdown. If you choose a size different than the listed size, that counts as your one free sizing.
Should I size the ring before or after gifting?
We recommend gifting the ring first, then having the person wearing it come in to be properly sized for the best fit.
Can you send me a ring sizer?
Yes. Contact us and we’ll mail one to you.
Can all rings be resized?
Most can, but some styles have limitations, especially rings with stones all the way around, certain metals, or unique designs.
How long does ring sizing take?
Most sizing is completed within 10 to 14 days.
Jewelry Cleaning & Inspection
How long does cleaning take?
- Quick check only: about a minute
- Full clean and inspection: about 1 hour for a few pieces
- Several items: we may ask to keep them for a day or so
Can I have my jewelry checked without cleaning it?
Yes. We can do a quick inspection without cleaning if you prefer.
How often should I have my jewelry checked?
For frequently worn pieces like engagement rings, about every 6 months.
Should I bring in older jewelry?
Yes. If a piece hasn’t been inspected in years, it’s a good idea to have it checked before wearing it regularly.
How do you clean jewelry?
We use a professional ultrasonic machine and steamer, which cleans more thoroughly than at-home methods.
Do you sell jewelry cleaning products?
Yes, we offer at-home cleaning solution for use between professional cleanings.
Do you clean tarnished silver?
On a case by case basis we are able to clean tarnished silver jewelry, cutlery, and pieces. However, there is a charge for most silver cleaning as it is done by hand.
Repairs
What types of jewelry repairs do you offer?
We offer ring sizing, stone setting, prong re-tipping, rebuilding, soldering, polishing, clasp repair, pearl restringing, and more.
Are repairs done in-house?
Yes. All repairs are completed on-site and never leave the store.
How long do repairs take?
Most repairs take 10 to 14 days. More complex repairs or custom fabrication may take 3 to 6 weeks.
Do you offer rush repairs?
Yes. Same-day or express service may be available for an additional fee.
Do you provide quotes before starting work?
Yes. We can always provide a free quote before any work is done.
Can you repair jewelry I didn’t buy from you?
Yes. We’re happy to take a look at any piece.
Do you cut rings off?
Yes, we do. Stop in and we’ll safely cut your ring off of your finger. Please note, in many cases, rings require significant repair after being cut in order to be resized and reshaped.
Do you offer emergency ring cutting?
Yes. For emergencies only please call 406-263-4384 and leave a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible. This service is available in Glasgow, Montana only during daytime hours.
Watches & Clocks
Do you replace watch batteries?
Yes. We offer watch battery replacement in-store.
Can you adjust my watch band?
Yes. We can size most watch bands for a small fee.
Do you sell watch bands?
Yes, we carry a selection of watch bands and can help you find the right fit for your watch.
Can you replace a watch crystal?
In some cases, yes. It depends on the watch. Bring it in and we’ll take a look.
Do you repair watch movements?
No, we do not repair watch movements. However, we’re happy to look at your watch and help point you in the right direction if needed.
Do you repair clocks?
We do not repair clocks in-store, but we have a trusted local clock specialist we can refer you to for movement repairs.
Appraisals
Do you offer jewelry appraisals?
Yes.
How much does an appraisal cost?
Appraisals are $125 per piece. Updates are $35.
Do you offer free appraisals with purchase?
Yes, within one yearof purchase upon request.
How long does an appraisal take?
Typically 3 to 4 weeks.
Do I have to leave my jewelry with you?
Yes. The item must be left with us so it can be properly inspected and documented.
What is included in an appraisal?
A detailed description, professional photo, and current replacement value.
Ear Piercing
Do you offer ear piercing?
Yes.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Ear piercing is by appointment only.
What is the cost?
$39.95, including starter studs and cleaning solution.
What age do you have to be?
6 years or older.
What type of earrings do you use?
We use sterile piercing studs made from high-quality materials designed specifically for piercing.
What areas do you pierce?
Ear lobes only. We do not pierce cartilage.
Do you pierce both ears at the same time?
No, we pierce one ear at a time.
How long does healing take?
About 6 to 10 weeks.

How do I make a Saturday appointment?
Please call us during a weekday prior to the Saturday you need an appointment. We do not offer same-day appointments for Saturdays.

No. Quotes are free and there’s no pressure to move forward.
