Getting your ears pierced should feel comfortable, safe, and simple. At Baker’s Jewelry, we make the experience easy for both kids and adults with trusted techniques and high-quality materials.

Ear piercings are done by appointment only so we can ensure one of our trained piercers is available and ready for you. Please call ahead to schedule before coming in.
What to Expect
We use a professional ear piercing system with sterile, single-use studs designed specifically for safe piercing.
- Piercings are done one ear at a time to ensure precise placement
- We pierce ear lobes only (no cartilage piercings)
- Available for first, second, and some third holes
- Must be 6 years or older
Pricing
Ear piercing is $39.95, which includes your starter studs and aftercare solution.
Your Starter Earrings
You’ll choose from a variety of birthstone studs set in surgical stainless steel. We use MediStuds®, which are:
- Sterile and disposable for each piercing
- Made from high-grade surgical stainless steel
- Plated in pure 24K gold for added purity and comfort
These are designed specifically for piercing, unlike standard retail earrings, which should never be used due to smaller posts and less reliable materials.
Why This Matters
MediStuds® feature a 16-gauge post, which is slightly thicker than standard earrings. This allows for:
- A clean, consistent piercing
- Easier transition to regular earrings after healing
- A hole that naturally adjusts to standard earring size over time
Aftercare & Healing
You’ll go home with a cleaning solution and simple instructions to care for your new piercings.
- Clean your ears twice a day using the provided solution
- Leave your starter earrings in for 6 to 10 weeks
- After healing, you can switch to your own earrings
- We recommend switching to high-quality earrings after healing to help prevent irritation and keep your ears comfortable long-term
